Job description

Client will need a full charge live-in Nanny/Housekeeper (M/F). Spanish speaker (M/F) is a plus, mature minded, many years of experience. This role combines child caregiving with housekeeping duties to support the family’s needs and maintain a pleasant home environment. Care for three kids (13, 11, 2) and one small dog. Responsible for providing. high-quality childcare and ensuring a clean, organized and safe household.

Family is American/Scandinavian with a full-time residence in Denmark and homes in Florida, Stockholm, and a summer home in Europe. Work schedule is open; should be flexible - it is not a Monday-Friday 9-6 schedule, hours to be discussed by client. Client will compensate in salary for flexible on-call work schedule.

Wife is fragile; Nanny/Housekeeper (M/F) will assist in everything around the house.

Responsibilities

Childcare:

Supervision: Monitor and ensure the safety and well-being of the children at all times.
Daily Activities: Plan and engage children in age-appropriate educational and recreational.
Meal Preparation: Prepare nutritious meals and snacks for the children, catering to any dietary restrictions or preferences.
School and Extracurriculars: Assist with homework, school projects, play dates, and transport children to and from school, activities, and appointments as needed.
Emotional Support: Provide a nurturing and supportive environment, offering emotional guidance and encouragement.
Driving: Pick up and drop off children from school.​​


​Housekeeping:
Cleaning: Perform general housekeeping duties including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and cleaning bathrooms and kitchens. Ensure house is tidy at all times. Clean terrace.
Laundry: Manage laundry, ironing, folding, organizing clothes, linens and dry cleaning.
Organization: Maintain an organized and tidy home, including managing toys, clothes, and household items. Walking dog as needed.
Grocery Shopping: Handle grocery shopping and maintain household supplies inventory.
Meal Preparation: Assist in preparing family meals as required. Help with parties.
Errands: Run household errands such as picking up prescriptions, dry cleaning, etc.


Child Routine:

Children are off to school at 7:45am-3pm, they will get dropped off and picked up by Nanny. They have limited after school activities. The two older children are independent and ok on their own. The one younger boy will need looking after.

Work conditions

Wife is fragile, Nanny/Housekeeper (M/F) should be more of a take charge person with own initiative to get things done and maintain household organized.
​Husband travels a lot, he needs to feel assured that the family is taken care of and in good responsible experienced hands.
Schedule will be discussed by client, but it is not a 9-6pm schedule. Weekends are included. Additional hours will be required on weekdays and weekends, generally on-call.
Fully furnished private apartment with excellent salary (to be discussed by client), all expenses paid. Will have use of family car.
