Job description
Family based in Los Angeles is looking for an experienced Nanny (M/F) with degree.
The little one is 2 years old and the family is living 9 months a year in Los Angeles area (near Santa Monica & Malibu) and 2/3 months a year in Massachusetts (approximately).
Travel situation in LA : Monday, Wednesday, Friday from 7:30am to 6pm; Tuesday, Thursday from 7:30am to 4pm (Saturdays 9am to 2pm, 1-3 times a month).
Travel situation in Wellesley, Massachusetts : Monday to Friday from 10am/noon to 5pm ; Saturday from 9am to 2pm or 3 Saturdays a month.
Responsibilities
Planning and executing developmentally appropriate activities that keeps daughter busy and encourage her curiosity and independence by walk in park, library, music class.
Keeping child's space tidy and organized by picking up her toys and general organization.
Maintaining the house tidy and organize by coordinating with the housekeeper.
Manage and collect family's laundry.
Grocery shopping online for the family.
Cooking food for daughter includes: breakfast, lunch, diner - No allergies specified.
Coordinate with service providers for dry cleaning pick up/drop off, deep cleaners, etc).
Manage UPS/FedEx returns.
Comfortable with jumping in and out of family time (if the parents want to take the daughter for an hour or the afternoon, the nanny should be comfortable staying home and complete work around the house, such as cooking).
Date night once a week usually 9:30/10pm, Nanny will sleep in 5 or 7 days a year.
Work with kids and parents in same area.
Screen time is only allowed with the parents (no more than 15-20 min a day).
Date night will happen once a week, usually from 9:30/10pm.
Requirements
Extensive toddler and child development experience.
A college degree is required and a background in childhood education is a major plus or obligation.
Personality - a loving second Mom type.
Flexible, energetic, communicative, confident, warm.
Local to LA area or Pacific Palisades.
Comfortable traveling domestically and internationally as needed.
A driver's license is required for frequent errands in family car.
Legal to work in the US.
Live-out in LA area 9 months.
Live-in Boston 2/3 months (Wellesley).
Pet friendly - Yorkie, small dog - not required but nice to walk every now and then.

Title of the position : Traveling Nanny.
Position to be filled : Ideally fill by June 1st - 8th, Nanny is leaving on June 22. Nice to have some interaction & training before hand.
Workplace : Located in Los Angeles area & Massachusetts (live in).
Employment contract : Permanent Hire.
Working hours :
In Travel situation in LA : Monday, Wednesday, Friday from 7:30am to 6pm ; Tuesday, Thursday 7:30am-4:00pm; Saturday from 9am to 2pm or 1-3 times a month.
