Job description
A lovely family based in Bethesda, Maryland, USA is in search of a nurturing and experienced Italian-speaking nanny to become a part of their household.
The nanny will primarily care for two girls. One is a vibrant, 8-year-old child full of curiosity and positivity, fluent in Spanish, Italian, and English. The other is a 3-year-old.
The majority of the nanny's time will be spent with only one child at a time. The family places a strong emphasis on curiosity, learning, and social/emotional intelligence, and we are looking for a nanny who shares these values.
Responsibilities
Provide attentive and loving care for the children.
Create a stimulating and educational environment that promotes curiosity and learning, in line with the family's culture.
Collaboratively develop age-appropriate daily practices that encourage growth and development.
Engage in activities that support social and emotional intelligence, such as arts and crafts, outdoor play, and educational games.
Perform light housekeeping duties including child's laundry, dishes, grocery shopping, and running errands.
Some weekend hours may be required.
Requirements
Native Italian speaker fluent in both written and spoken Italian.
Previous experience working as a nanny or in a childcare setting.
A genuine interest in child development and a willingness to learn and grow collaboratively with the family.
Calm, mature, and nurturing demeanor.
Ability to adapt to a flexible schedule as needed.
Work conditions
Schedule: Full-time, flexible, to be discussed.
The position can be permanent or temporary, with the option for a summer position.
Start: As soon as possible.
Accommodation: The family can offer a bedroom with a bathroom, featuring a separate entrance.
