Job description

A lovely family based in Cape Town, South Africa, is seeking an experienced Maternity Nanny to provide overnight care for their 2-month-old baby girl during the weekends. This role ensures the baby's well-being and allows the parents to rest.

This is a permanent part-time role starting as soon as possible.

Responsibilities

Provide attentive care during nighttime hours.
Attend to the baby's needs, including feeding, changing, and comforting, while maintaining a quiet environment.
Monitor the baby's sleep patterns and provide support as necessary.
Communicate effectively with the day-shift Maternity Nanny to ensure continuity of care.

Requirements

Proven experience in caring for newborns, particularly during nighttime hours.
Familiarity with newborn sleep routines and nighttime care.
Ability to maintain a peaceful atmosphere conducive to the baby's sleep.
Discretion and respect for the family's privacy.
Flexibility to adapt to the baby's changing nighttime schedule and needs.
Based in Cape Town and eligible to work in South Africa

Work conditions

Saturday and Sunday, 7:00 pm - 7:00 am
