Job description

A family is looking for a Housekeeper/Nanny (M/F) who speaks English and will provide reliable logistical support to the family on a daily basis. During the week, the candidate will be responsible for maintaining their large house and handling domestic tasks. On weekends and during the family's stays at their property, the candidate will also take care of the couple's 18-month-old daughter.

The position is located in Eze (06), France.
There is a cat at the residence.

This is a permanent position available in August 2023.
The position can be live-in permanently. At the very least, the position requires living in on weekends.

Responsibilities

Perform maintenance of the 350m2 house and carry out all household tasks (cleaning, vacuuming, dusting, polishing, maintaining glass surfaces, etc.).
Carefully and meticulously maintain materials, furniture, and decorative objects.
Handle the family's and household's laundry with care and precision (thoroughly washing delicate and high-end textiles, ironing, precise and organized storage in closets).
Possibly prepare meals for the family on weekends (simple, family-oriented, balanced meals using seasonal products).
Assist the employers in setting up, organizing, and cooking during private receptions organized by the family.
Support the family during weekends and take care of the child from morning to bedtime.
Propose various stimulating and enriching activities indoors or outdoors.
Welcome guests in the absence of the employers.
Receive packages, deliveries, and welcome external service providers.
Take care of grocery shopping or emergency shopping.
Take care of the cat (feed and change litter).
Be available to live-in on weekends.

Requirements

Male/Female with a minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role.
Friendly, warm, and empathetic individual.
Calm and caring.
Honest, discreet, reliable, responsible, and trustworthy.
Organized, flexible, versatile, and meticulous.
Attention to detail and precise work.
Excellent level of English required.
Driving license B is a plus.
Ability to swim.
Good level of spoken French

Work conditions

Job title: Housekeeper/Nanny
Start date: August 2023
Work location: Eze (06), between Nice and Monaco, France.
Employment contract: Permanent (CDI) - Full-time - 2 days off during the week (Monday and Tuesday - to be confirmed).
Working hours: 40 hours per week from Wednesday to Sunday (to be confirmed).
Position can be live-in permanently - At the very least, the employee agrees to live-in on weekends.
Accommodation provided in the house: Furnished room with a private bathroom - Kitchenette area.
