Job description

An english-speaking family, also speaking Italian and Ukrainian, living in Dubai and having two children, is looking for a traveling nanny. The person will mainly take care of their 1-year-old baby full time and of their 9 year old little girl whenever needed.

The candidate will provide reliable support to the family on a daily basis by caring for the child full time and creating a reassuring and stimulating environment.

She will accompany the family on their many trips to Europe and elsewhere.The position is located in Dubai, UAE.

This is a permanent role to be filled as soon as possible. The position is not accommodated in the family’s main residence but can be organized live- out by the family office.

Responsibilities

Be present to take care of the 2 children of the family (9 yr old girl, 1 yr old boy)
Take care of the little boy full-time on a daily basis, and of the 9 year old little girl when needed
Organise playful and educational, creative awakening activities indoor or outdoor.
Offer indoor activities (reading, games, songs...)
Offer outdoor activities (swimming, going to the pool and beach, walks...)
Supervise the daily routine (naps, feeding and bottles, bath, dinner for the eldest...)
Be a source of ideas for stimulating and rewarding activities
Prepare breakfast and dinner for the children and make sure everything is clean and tidy afterwards
Responsible for storage and organisation of bedrooms and playrooms
Prepare luggage, clothing and toys for the trips
Establish and maintain good communication with parents at all times and keep them informed of their children’s progress
Respect and accommodate parental preferences and needs regarding discipline, routines, activities and living or travel arrangements
Accompany the family during regular trips and stays abroad

Requirements

M/F with at least 3-5 years experience in a similar role in a private household • Reassuring, able to give a structured framework to the child
Happy, smiling, creative
Loving to play, sing, laugh with toddlers
Honest, discreet, responsible and totally trustworthy
Warm and dynamic person
A person who loves her job and children
Fluent in english (or fluent in Italian or Ukrainian)
Valid and up-to-date passport required

Position: Travelling Nanny
Start date: As soon as possible
Workplace: Dubai, UAE
Employment contract: Permanent - Full time - Local contract - Schedule to be confirmed
The position is not accommodated in the family’s main residence but can be organized as live-out by the family office.
