Job description
For a lovely family living in Geneva, Switzerland, we are looking for a bilingual German/French or German/English Tutor (M/F) to monitor the schooling of a 13-year-old child by offering him appropriate educational support.
The person will also take care of his 8 year old sister.
Long term contract to be filled ASAP. Part-time or full-time position - no accommodation provided
Responsibilities
Help with children's homework
Help children overcome difficulties (oral expression, understanding of the situation, etc.) and guide them in their intellectual development
Channeling the behavior of the eldest by listening to him and being a force of proposal
to stimulate open-mindedness
Speak German to children
Organization of educational and fun activities for children
Accompaniment of the eldest to sports activities (judo, piano, swimming pool etc.)
Reporting to parents (learning progress, validation of achievements)
Preparing children's luggage for travel
Driver upon demand
Support and assist the mother as needed
Interface with suppliers or external stakeholders
Requirements
At least 3 years of experience in a similar professional environment
Bilingual German/French or German/English person
Reliable, cheerful, autonomous and flexible person
Fine pedagogue with an excellent mastery of personalized teaching dedicated to children
Ability to stimulate curiosity, openness to children
Discretion to the family
Driving license required
