Job description
A lovely French family of 4 living in Notting Hill, London. UK is looking for an experienced, patient, and understanding Nanny (live in or live out) who would help them look after 4-year-old twins (a boy and a girl).
The right candidate has to be kind, genuinely love children, and understand children's psychology. The family would prefer someone who speaks French or Spanish but it's not a must.
This is a full-time permanent position, start ASAP.
This role could be either live out or live in. The family can offer a separate room in their house for a live-in nanny.
Responsibilities
Pick up the children from school in the afternoon
Play with the children in the garden
Take them to activities
Bath time
Look after the children when they are sick or on school break
Travel with the family during school breaks (mainly to France)
Cook meals for the children and prepare their lunch boxes
Laundry for the children
Folding and organising children's clothes
Keep the children's toys clean and tidy
Tidying up children's spaces including their bathroom, changing their bedsheets etc
Cleaning up after the family breakfast and after the children's dinner
Some babysitting when needed
If the nanny lives in, she would have to help prepare breakfast and get the kids ready for nursery in the morning
Requirements
Experience in a similar position
Understanding of children's psychology
Excellent references
Kind and loving personality
Enthusiastic person who likes playing with children
Flexible
Good English; French and/or Spanish will be a plus
DBS checked
Work conditions
Schedule:
If live out: Monday to Thursday from 11am to 7pm; Friday from 8:30am to 7pm. Some flexibility may be required. If the children are sick and/or on school break, the start will be at 8:30am.
If live in: Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 7:30 pm with a long break during the day
