Job description
A lovely young family with 2 children aged 7 & 4 years old are looking for a gentle, happy, and reliable Housekeeper / Nanny to help them manage their 5-bedroom house set in 8 acres land in the beautiful Chiltern Hills area in Buckinghamshire, UK.
This is a busy household with both parents working full time; the role involves sole charge of the children when they are not at school and during school holidays.
The family is looking for someone who is kind, caring and dedicated to helping them. The person needs to genuinely love children and be willing to pitch in as needed.
The ideal candidate for this role will also be flexible, show great initiative, be discreet, be self-sufficient. There is also a small dog living in the house, so you will need to be dog friendly and happy to help when necessary.
Responsibilities
Nanny duties:
Manage children calendar and make sure they have all the necessary for the daily activities at school
Supervising homework
Preparing meals for the children
Helping to get them ready for school in the morning and with bath and bedtime routine in the evening
Taking the children to activities and playdates
Housekeeping duties:
General cleaning of the house when children are at school
Laundry and ironing
Smooth running of the household, leasing with outside contractors and vendors
Running errands and weekly grocery shopping
Requirements
Exceptionally organised
Previous experience working in similar private homes
Good communication skills
Child friendly and happy to look after the children when necessary
Driver, car will be provided for work purpose
Capable swimmer
Work conditions
Employment conditions:
Working hours: Monday to Friday from 7 am to 7 pm with a break during the day.
Accommodation: Self-contained annex attached to the house, with separate entrance.
Salary: Negotiable depending on experience
Start Date: ASAP
