Full Time Governess Job Offer and Vacancy in Larchmont, NY, USA
An experienced and well-educated governess/nanny is required for two children 4 and 7 y.o. in Larchmont, NY, USA.
The right candidate has to be proactive, responsible, and intelligent, someone who understands children's psychology and focuses on their development.
The family would prefer a candidate based locally (within a commutable distance) but they can provide accommodation for the right candidate if needed (a room with a bathroom).
This is a permanent position, starting in August/September 2022.
Responsibilities
Take the children to activities
Develop children's skills and talents through activities and games
Pick up children from school when needed
Help with homework
Guide the children in the right activities
Ensure the children are properly nourished (there's a chef but some cooking may be required)
Some laundry and wardrobe management for the children
Travel with the family if needed
Requirements
Experience in a similar position
Checkable references
Hands-on individual
Well-educated, preferably with a bachelor's degree
Driving license
Fluent English, other languages will be a plus
Non-smoker
Leading a healthy lifestyle
Able to set a good example
Attention to detail
Work conditions
Schedule: 5 days per week, around 40 hours a week
