Full Time Live-in Nanny Job Offer and Vacancy in Las Vegas, NV, US
A loving and caring Nanny is required for a 1.5-year-old boy for a live-in position in Las Vegas, Nevada, the USA.
The right candidate would be well educated and well versed in the best practices of children's development and would understand children's psychology.
The family leads a healthy and active lifestyle and the parents would prefer to hire a nanny who is also passionate about a healthy lifestyle and would set a good example for their son.
The nanny has to be proactive, yet respectful and mindful of the parents' rules and preferences.
Apart from typical childcare duties, the nanny will be responsible for the boy's laundry and toys so a high level of tidiness and cleanliness is required for this position.
The mother works from home and enjoys spending a lot of time with her son, it will be a shared care role, and the nanny has to be available to cover for the mother when she is busy.
Start: As soon as possible, it is a long-term position.
Look after the boy
Stimulate his development through activities and games
Sometimes drive the boy to school and activities (he will start part-time school in August 2022)
Cooking for the boy and feeding him
Laundry for the boy and management of his wardrobe
Cleaning and organizing his toys
Put toys and other items back after playing in their designated place
Travel with the family domestically and internationally when needed
Follow confidentiality requirements
Some babysitting when needed
Experience in a similar position
Excellent references from former employers
Respectful
Discreet, willing to sign an NDA
Flexible and available
Eligible to work in the US
Driver's license
Fluent English
Spanish or other languages will be a plus
Schedule: 5 days a week (days off usually on Mondays and Tuesdays but some flexibility is required). The boy usually gets up around 7am and goes to bed at 7pm so the nanny would have to be available during these hours but will have plenty of breaks as the mother is very much involved in childcare too, and the nanny will have to take over when the mother is busy.
Accommodation: Own room with a bathroom. Extra storage place can be provided. The family lives in a gated community, guests are not allowed.
